I do the rest. As far as the groceries go, I am diligent about checking the ads for the local supermarkets I frequent to see which meats are on sale. If it's a cut that I use regularly, I'll load up with a few packages and save bunches. For instance, every 2 months or so, boneless chicken breasts are 1.99 a pound for the 5 pound family packs, when they're normally 3.49. That's a basic for me, so I'll get 10-15 pounds, then foodsaver into smaller packages. I’m lucky, my husband keeps up on the laundry. I do the rest. One thing I do that really helps is when I get our grocery store ad on Sundays I plan our meals for the week based on what meat, produce etc. is for sale for the week. They also have great recipes in our grocery store ad, so it keeps us out of our making the same meal over again rut. I’m so/so at using coupons, sometimes I’m really good about it, and then I totally forget.
