She bought me the book too but I have not had time to read much lately. And a bonus is that it is coming out in movie soon too. It sounds like a crying book though so keep the tissue near! It is the first book is a 3 book series. Everyone says her books are all great. This is the first one I have read/listened to and I guarantee that I will be looking for more of her books. I am reading right now "The First Patient" by Michael Palmer, which is also a great book. I just finished two great mysteries called "The Ever-Running Man" by Marcia Muller and "A Murder of Promise" by Robert Andrews (wonderful book). I also just finish listening to "The Way Home" by George Pelacanos which is also a great book. I hope this helps you. I went to a local book sale and got a big box of books for $3 and I also won a couple from giveaways. Good luck finding a great book.
