Little Jet Set Makes Travel Simple Review and Giveaway

Little Jet Set is one of my all time favorite places for traveling with kids, because it has so many resources all in one place. I ran across Little Jet Jet for the first time when I was going to be traveling across the country with two eleven month olds, and found so many things that I could use. The fact that we were taking a major trip with my boys coupled with the fact that I was a first time parent, I was desperate to find things to entertain the boys as well as maintain my sanity.
Little Jet Set offers a wide range of things for your child’s travel. And it is really nicely organized. Not only that they offer some valuable links to some really nice resources. I found a wealth of information, when I was busy trying to determine if the boys car seats were going to fit on an airplane.
We were recently given the opportunity to review the Vehicles Maze Puzzle, by Melissa and Doug and the I Get Around Travel Activity Set. Both of the boys were naturally excited to try what I pulled out of the box. The Vehicle Maze puzzle was a big hit because both of them go coo coo over cars of any kind. This puzzle is great for road trips, because it has no loose pieces so nothing gets lost. This is perfect for long road trips. Each vehicle has a specific place along the maze like the police car goes to the station, and the school bus goes to the school. My two simple love it and I don’t have to chase after lost pieces.
This innovative wooden puzzle includes nine colorful vehicle pieces that slide around a colorful town scene on slotted tracks. Uniquely designed sliding pieces move freely around the puzzle, but can’t be removed or lost! Perfect for car trips or airplane rides. This great activity encourages eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills. Dimensions: 13.2 in. x 10.7 in. x 1.1 in. Age 3+
The “I Get Around Travel Activity Set.” is one of my favorites and it is such a cute idea for young kids. I am an avid scrapbooker so this is a great way to get your kids involved, and they can create their own memories. The boys had a blast with all the fun stickers, and even though they didn’t quite grasp the concept, it is a great way to spend time with your child, and helping them recall the favorite moments in their trip. This would be great for vacations at the end of a busy day. It is a great way to give them an activity and to wind down from such a busy day. I love anything that encourage cognitive skills, as well as creativity. The boys loved choosing from all the fun stickers.
I Get Around Activity Set $39.95
This gift set, available only at LittleJetSet.com, is perfect for kids who are going places — in everyday life, on special trips and in their imaginations. Each set includes: an “i get around” board book, which tells the story of Rover, and all the ways this hound gets around with his animal friends and what he does at the end of an active day; a spiral bound journal and scrapbook where little ones can express themselves with stickers, drawings and words as they experience the world around them; and 6 packs of repositionable stickers (Rover, action words, objects, feelings and senses, alphabet and special places). Comes packaged in a Little Jet Set logo tote – perfect for gift giving.
- Comes with rhyming 32-page board book, 60-page journal and 6 packs of stickers (2 sheets each)

Good Luck!!!

I love the Trunki ride on suitcase. I make sure when we are traveling I pack two seperate bags with two of everything in it for the flight or car ride. That way there will be no fights over who has what between my two kids. Thanks for entering me in the giveaway!!
Cow Print Art and Activity Backpack by The Piggy Story is adorable
crayola sells traingular crayons that do not roll and colored pencils too- easier for traveling in car or plane. Have some dollar store prizes to pull out just in case they need something new to be amused with.
I like the book “We All Go Traveling By” and my favorite travel tip is to have my pillow and blanket. My daughter is 20 now and I don’t need to worry about packing for kids. I do home daycare and I don’t go very far with them but I always make sure I have diapers and baby wipes at all times.
I put your badge on my sidebar. Lovin’ your site
I love Saba the Snail Zoobie Pet. It’s adorable. I’ve had to travel several times by myself with my three kids on quite long trips. I find that packing lots of snacks in little snack bags keeps them happy.
Flip to Win Travel Bingo looks fun! I throw a basket of books in the back seat for my son, no quieter activity than reading and using his imagination. It seems to keep him happy for a while.
I like the Squiggles: A Really Giant Drawing and Painting Book from Chronicle Books. My best travel tip is to pack enough varied kinds of snacks.

The Piggy Mermaids Lil’ Diva Valise Sleep Set by The Piggy Story is cuter than cute, and easily one of my favorite items from the site.

I love the Made You Look book by Klutz! One thing that saves us on long car trips is to have mini rock outs. At rest stops, we turn up the music and stand outside the car and dance like crazy. It gets some energy out before getting back in the car.

I love the xcase by Heys. Their website loads VERY slow (and I’m on cable internet).
When we travel, I pack my kids outfits (down to underwear in socks) in large ziplock bags. That way, all they have to do is grab a bag out of the suitcase and they have a full outfit ready to go. The bags are also good for packing wet swimsuits/soiled items for the trip home.
I like the Piggy Pirates Art and Activity Backpack.
Always bring a snack when you travel
I like the Travel Toy Tote by Alex. For a long road trip we like to freeze about a dozen juice boxes, use them to keep other stuff cold in the cooler and then drink them as they melt.

The Squiggles really giant drawing book looks great. If I hadn’t just SWORN I wouldn’t buy anything else for the easter basket, I’d be very tempted by a lot of these items. Hmm, a travel tip…if you’re having trouble getting seats together as a family, just explain that you don’t mind sitting next to a stranger, but you will be breastfeeding…the WHOLE time. The older the child, the faster the agent will be printing a ticket with seats together. 🙂
The Flip to Win Travel Bingo looks like fun! We pack small activities that can be handed out every hour or so throughout a long trip — it breaks up the trip and keeps the kids busy!
Love the Trunki suitcases – our son has one and it was so handy in the airport when we flew overseas! When we travel, we try to make sure the bag is packed with healthy snacks/drinks, toys and books that don’t come out very often. The portable DVD player is a definite sanity saver for long carrides! We also try to pack a lunch if the weather is nice so we can stop in a park somewhere to eat. That way my son can run around for a bit instead of going from his car seat to the chair in the restaurant where he’s expected to sit still for even longer.
I adore the Cow Print Ramblin’ Kid Suitcase Sleep Set by The Piggy Story. It is just too cute. I want a grown up one!!!
Keep plenty of wipes on hand and plan for breaks and bathroom stops.

I love the Toiletry & Wash Bags. I really like the Mariona Toiletry Bag. They are all so cute and colorful and come with brush, toothbrush holder, bottle, and sponge. I think this is a fun way to encourage responsibility of children taking care of their personal needs. If they have something that is theirs and no one elses they will take pride in taking care of it.
My tip is bring enough underwear!
So many convenient items, I especially love the toiletry bags, so nice!

My favorite travel tip is to bring a “surprise” bag full of small things you can pull out when they start getting bored. Plus fun books on tape!!

I really like the Flip to Win Travel Bingo! My travel tip is to take old cookie sheets, one for each kid, so they can play with any of their magnetic toys/games while they are riding.
Spring Fling Chalk and Doodle by The Piggy Story is something I think that my kids would like.
My tip: We pack individual packs of snacks for whenever the kids get hungry so that they dont fight over who it belongs to
My son would love the Magnetic Pattern Block Kit by Melissa & Doug.
My Tip: Even if you are only going on a day trip always make sure to pack with atleast one extra outfit for the kids-even the older one’s. You never know what might happen or what they might get into.
I really like the Zoobies.
OMG, I love their stuff! I especially loved the Trixie the Trunki !! So cute!!
My best travel tip is to visit a dollar store or Target or something before your trip and stock up on cheap “gifts” for your kid. Books they haven’t seen before, new pack of crayons, a small (soundless, please!) toy, etc. Then actually wrap them in wrapping paper to make it fun for them to open on the plane. Then give them out one at a time, every 1/2 hr or so. I did this with a 20 month old on two 8 hr flights to Paris and she was silent the whole way! Oh, and don’t forget to buy another set of stuff for your return trip!
