Dominos and Green Graffiti Team Up! *giveaway*
Dominos pizza is partnering up with GreenGraffiti, a company that will go around New York City, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles, adding “green graffiti” to the cities on behalf of Dominos. It’s definitely“green”, and in fact, it actually is good. GreenGraffiti is creating graffiti in those cities by power-washing their graffiti onto streets and sidewalks, essentially cleaning the streets. I think this is a really great idea and not only that Green Graffiti participates in a water harvesting campaign giving back to people in need of drinking water.
How Does Green Graffiti Work?
GreenGraffiti® is an environmentally friendly form of outdoor advertising with a clear message; clean is green. GreenGraffiti® is completely carbon neutral, is one of the first companies in the world to compensate for our water footprint and contributes in a unique way to a healthier environment. That is why we can say with a clear conscience: the more GreenGraffiti® the better.
With the help of a template and a high pressure water sprayer an advertising message is cleaned out of the dirt. The result is a high impact message and a cleaner street.

If anyone in these participating cities can find the graffiti and take their picture in front of it, all they need to do is email that picture to Dominos and they get themselves a quick/easy gift card.

The buffalo chicken is tasty! I love the green graffiti…put a stencil down, spray it with a power washer, and voila…a cool advertising plan, and a cleaner sidewalk!

What I like is about the green initiative is that: At first glance, it appears that something’s been painted onto the sidewalks. In reality, we’re just removing dirt and leaving ads behind.

I am quite traditional with my pizza–pepperoni, black olives and extra cheese, with a crispy crust. About the graffiti advertising, I think it is a great idea. Nothing like using the city dirt (or lack of it in the case of the cleaned spots) to make a point! Completely ecofriendly, even to the point that over time, the natural tendency of dirt to accumulate will cover the ad!

Its a unique idea, wish they were doing it in more towns.
We just recently splurged and went out on a limb to try something new and tried the Cali Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza–it was very tasty! I like that this advertising campaign is cleaning up sidewalks and not using lots of paper and other materials that just end up getting tossed.

I love pepperoni and cheese pizza. I know it’s boring.
Green Graffiti is pretty cool. I know I’m in the minority perhaps, but I love graffiti’s raw art form. I don’t like it when they have nothing to say, but in this case not only do they utitilize a cool form of expression for an ad that I’ll probably see somewhere, it doesn’t impact the environment much. I have heard of it before and hope that it does catch on.
FYI: when I clicked on the link, I only saw the Obama lava cake or something. It didn’t show anything about green graffiti. I looked elsewhere for info. But like I said, I’ve seen it before so their message is getting out.

The Cali Chicken Bacon Ranch is a big hit with our family, though I’m a plain cheese girl myself. I like the water harvesting program that green graffiti is participating in–everyone should have water and that they match liter for liter for those in Brazil without it is incredible.

I love the Philly Cheese Steak Pizza. I learned that Green Graffiti is removing the dirt from the sidewalk to create an ad.
Memphis BBQ Chicken omg it is so yummy. I love how they are promoting by going green. I think other restaurants should follow.
