Bank Of America Helps To Save You Time

With being right in the middle of the Holiday hustle and bustle, I find myself trying to beg borrow and steal time wherever I can, just to manage all the tasks on my list. Not only am I chasing after the kids, managing the house, and rounding up the family for holiday travel, I also tend to do a majority of the paper work in the house. Online banking has become a savior for me, and simply one of the greatest inventions ever!
When it come to banking, I cannot imagine banking the old fashioned way, especially with having two young kids. I can pay all of my bills from my couch, I don’t have to waste money on stamps, and the time it takes to fill out checks, and seal up envelopes, and make my way to the mailbox. Bank Of America offers some really great tools and time saving tips to help you save valuable time while helping to mange finances. We make greatest use of their online banking, and it makes managing bills so much easier. You can see when they go out, you can schedule payments, receive alerts and balance information, as well as make money transfers. With the winter months, I do not even have to put a toe out my front door, and I can take care of our financial obligations.
- Bank on the go: It’s easy to set up mobile banking and secure access to your money wherever you are. Download the mobile banking app and you can check balances, transfer money, pay bills, and locate ATMs. Sign up for text banking and you’ll be able to send a text message to get your balance instantly in a reply.
- Make quick and easy deposits: Holiday means a lot of extra work, so eliminate the labor of depositing checks. With Bank of America’s Deposit Image ATMs, you simply feed checks or cash into the ATM with no envelopes or deposit slips required. You get images of your checks and a list of cash deposited on your receipt as proof.
- Save a trip to the bank: Don’t worry about making an extra stop to the bank during all of your holiday shopping. Keep track of your spending by using Bank of America’s online banking: set up alerts, check balances, and transfer money.
During the holidays, it is important to manage your time, so you can enjoy those special moments with family. Outside of banking, I try to plan ahead, and organize items on my to do list that coordinate with each other. Both me and my husband split up (divide and conquer), each of us takes one kid, to take care of errands and chores. It eliminates having to take up the entire day trying to get everything done, and allows for us to have some quality family time. A little bit of planning goes a long way! You can hear about other great tips by following @BofA_Tips on twitter too!

I like to combine my trips out to save gas and time, & I also do double duty cooking alot, this is especially helpful when I just dont have time to cook a full meal, so when I am making something using ground meat I will brown an extra pound and freeze it, then the next time that I need to use it I just add whatever else I will be making for dinner that night, some nites its tacos, or sloppy joes, or chili and that saves me on cooking.

I am a total multi-tasker. You have to be when you are a single dad. It has been hard and somewhat restrictive, but totally worth it. You also need to schedule time for play otherwise we all go insane.

By wrapping presents when I buy them…this saves a lot of time towards Christmas.
I ALWAYS TRY TO GET 8 HOURS OF SLEEP …
We’re not folks who buy our tree early, so since we wait, right before we put it up we give the house a really good cleaning and then forget about the chores until after we take it down. Except for the bathroom of course!
I try to finish all my shopping in November, and I stay organized with lots of lists
I keep the holidays simple. I cut back on the gifts to give, and I try to buy them online or get them in one shopping trip to a nearby store.
I comparison shop online to find the best deals so I save time and money on my holiday shopping
try to finish all shopping right after Thanksgiving and cater the holiday dinner…this way have time for family and friends
I buy all cards, wrapping paper, tags, ribbon, etc. in mid-November when the selection is best and there are a lot less crowds. Same with Christmas presents! 😉
I let my daughter wrap all my gifts (except hers) and frost the sugar cookies. Saves me tons of time and she loves it.
Thanks for the chance.

i avoid the malls and don’t do any shopping on weekends during the holiday season
There’s no way to get back time, so I try not to waste it in the first place. I don’t go wandering around the aisles looking for ideas, I keep a list of ideas year round. I make batches of cookies starting around Thanksgiving and freeze them so when I’m asked (always last minute) to bake something for a bazaar etc I’m all set.
I lower my expectations. I can’t do it all, so I only do what absolutely has to get done and what is really important to me.
I spend the time when I have it to declutter my space. I feel like I can think much more clearly when my space is clear!

Something I started doing this week is restricting my contest entries to websites that only list 5 or less ways to submit “bonus” entries. Some websites list a dozen or more ways, and if you don’t enter every way you can, you can’t be competitive in their contest. It can take an amazing amount of time to enter such contests. I like to win contests, but I want to spend more time with my family this holiday season and less time with my face glued to a computer screen. It really is a great time savings to decide how much is “too much” when it comes to sweepstaking.

I try to consolidate my trips out and do some shopping online
I get back time by multitasking, and sometimes integrating work with play. It does save a lot of time!
I’m sure it’s been said but shop online as much as possible. You don’t have to wait in line and deal with harrassed people in those lines. You can also comparison shop much easier online. thank you!
I totally limit my online time during the holidays. All my friends know
not to e-mail/text me because I do not spend time replying until Dec. 26!!
I make lots of lists to try to make the most of my time. Lists of things that need to be done at home, grocery lists, etc. I also do a lot of multi-tasking to try to save time.

I grocery shop when I get off work at midnight. The store is nearly empty and I’m saving gas and time by not making an extra trip.

I get time back by getting up very early on week day mornings when I have the house to myself.
I try to bake and cook some of the Christmas week food before hand and freeze it so I do not feel so rushed during the holiday.

I do my shopping late at night to avoid the crowds
A great way I get back time during the year is to do everything online…I pay bills, compare items, buy stuff etc and it’s much quicker than going to those actual places!

Thanks for the giveaway…we have found that careful planning (i.e. with extra time built-in for the unexpected) allows for ample time to do almost everything without feeling rushed.

It may seem odd but my way to get back time is by being the person that volunteers to bring chips or coke to the party; whether it’s family or work. That way I just bring that stuff and I save the time that would have been spent buying groceries, preparing a meal and cleaning up the mess.

I get up an hour earlier than everyone else to get back time, and it works wonders for me.
I buy gifts earlier in the year instead of waiting till the busy times.
I shop year round and put things away, and I do most of my shopping online which is a huge time saver. Thanks.
