Short legs

It’s amazing how fast my boys are growing but they don’t seem to be growing into their pants  lol.  Their shirts are measuring 2T but they are only in 18 month and some 24 moth pants if you roll them up.  Its cute to watch them run…they are awfully fast for having such short legs!  Maybe they will be soccer players?

Wheres the other baby monitor?

We had been looking for the second monitor for the longest time. Here I am every day talking to two toddlers asking them where it is and they are talking to you in some language you dont understand and pointing around like they know what you are talking about…and you are running around like a fool searching. When you have children you will find that everything just disappears! The remote, the phones, you name it…it vanishes! Well one day I decided to give the boys a few crackers…and well…wouldn’t you know it..there in the cracker box was the baby monitor…DUH! I should have looked there…isn’t that where all baby monitors are? LOL!

Monkey See Monkey Do

Kids are like little sponges I tell ya.  I was sitting out on the porch swing the other day and I was telling Monkey “no no” to something he was getting into.  I always point my finger and say “no no.”  Well just as I did that, Bubs turns around and goes “no no” and points his finger the same way.  Although I was trying to maintain a serious look…I just had to bust out laughing!   It is funny to see little mirror images of yourself.  Time to really be careful in what I say!

Going to the grocery store!

As you can imagine going to the stores with twins can be challenging!  The first challenge is managing to get them and yourself dressed and ready to go out the door.  Then you have to get everyone herded into one place in order to get them in the car.  Once you arrive you are faced with where to put them as many places don’t have carts made for two!  If they do have them, then I find myself searching the parking lot prior to unloading them from the car.  A lot of times, I just find myself waiting for my husband to get home so we can just push one in each cart.  You’d think with the increase in multiple births..that all stores would have the accomodations.

Ready to ride!

Ok, so the boys are totally fascinated by cars! They absolutely love the neighbors power wheels jeep that they have. I hope that we are able to get them one soon…they are pricey but I think it would be well worth the money for them. I have my eye on the Jeep Hurricane by Fisher-Price. I think it looks so cool and it goes up hills and over rock and stuff so we would be able to take the boys on the path that runs behind our house. They would have a blast…especially as they get even more coordinated in how to steer!

Going to the Circus!!

Next month Grandma and Grandpa will be coming up for a visit and we are all going with the boys to their first circus! I think they are really going to enjoy it. Monkey and Bubs are clapping now when they hear or see other people clapping, so they should get a kick out of being there at the circus. There will will be lots of stuff going on so it should be entertaining. I haven’t been to the circus since I was little so it is so much fun to be able to do and share these things with the boys for the first time. So we are off to The Ringling Bros. And Barnum & Baily Circus!
