Rinsing Away Bathtime Woes!

I recently came across a product that helps with the dreaded hair washing at bath time! So, tonight at bath, I came armed with a new trick up my sleeve and its called the LilRinser! Hair washing is no longer a chore!
Most toddlers or children don’t like to have water poured over there heads! I know my two always try to escape the water pitcher and they stand up and try to climb out of the tub! We wind up with half the pitcher of water on the floor instead!
So recently we tried the LilRinser and it worked like a charm! In fact both the boys made a game out of it and wanted my husband to keep dumping water on their heads! The LilRinser doesn’t allow water or soap to get in your child’s eyes or ears so washing hair isn’t a fight to the finish! You should check it out if bath time comes to a screeching halt when it comes time to wash hair! No more tears and you get to keep your sanity!! Well maybe LOL!

Ok, so the boys are totally fascinated by cars! They absolutely love the neighbors power wheels jeep that they have. I hope that we are able to get them one soon…they are pricey but I think it would be well worth the money for them. I have my eye on the Jeep Hurricane by Fisher-Price. I think it looks so cool and it goes up hills and over rock and stuff so we would be able to take the boys on the path that runs behind our house. They would have a blast…especially as they get even more coordinated in how to steer!
New shoes

I went to get the boys some new shoes at stride rite. It was the last day of their buy one get one 50% off sale. When you have twins a sale is always your friend. The boys are growing leaps and bounds and grew right out of their size 8 shoes! The last time we were there they were 11 months old and were measuring at the size of a two year old! I love stride rite shoes because they come in wide widths and since the boys have chubby lil feet, they seem to be comfortable in them. I got them the cutest sandals and just some comfy tennis shoes. The sandals are nice because they go on quick and they can get them wet in the summer months. I put them in a half size bigger so they have a little room to grow…they look huge on their feet. My babies are growing up!
Making Life Easier

Being a mother of twins, I am always looking for things that make my life a little easier! Whenever we go to restaurants we always have a hard time with where to put the boys’ food because we never want to put it directly on the dirty table tops and the paper place mats they give you always go flying off the table. If the plates were a little less breakable then that would be great because often times the plates can go flying with two toddlers! While I was at Babies R’ Us this past weekend I found these really cool place mats that you can travel with and they roll up when you’re done and you can wash them at home, they also have this really cool catch all pouch so you aren’t losing a ton of food on the floor! I’m sure the staff at the restaurant appreciate that! Its the Tiny Diner by Kiddopotamus…Did I mention I love these things??!!
