What Being A Mom Means
Being a mom means that everything you eat tastes better even if your child has the same thing!
You can never pee alone again
When you get up to do chores the kids leave ya alone, but if you dare sit they become attached like glue!
The bathtub will never be the same, I guess I can learn to love playing with squirty toys!
If you’re tired the kids dont sleep, if you aren’t tired they will sleep when you need them up.
If you have two of something, they will still fight over what the other one has.
Poop always happens after you put on a clean diaper!
You must have good running shoes, cause the lil boogers are fast!, especially when they have something they aren’t supposed too.
Most of all being a Mom means, I am loved by two special little boys and I couldn’t want anything more.

I am by nature a crafty person and before I had my twins, I was always finding new things to do whether it was a new concept in scrapbooking or an adventure in oragami (which is frustrating as hell lol!). One day while I was combing the internet I ran across a nifty site where it shows you how to make a rose from a maple leaf. I have never tried to do it yet and at the moment I am fresh out of maple leaves, but will be trying my creativity in fall. I will have to take a picture of either a beautiful maple leaf rose or a picture of a flaming pile of leave if I don’t succeed! LOL! Here’s the Maple Leaf Rose, if you’re up for the challenge. Let me know how it goes!

I have only bid on ebay a handful of times for various little things. The one frustrating thing is being outbid in the last remaining seconds of an auction grrr! Nothing like getting your hopes up for that thingamajig that you really wanted to brighten up your button collection or whatever it may be. I ran across a site that allows you to type in what you are looking for and then looks it up with all the common misspellings on Ebay. These items have fewer bids or no bids because the person who put it up for auction spelled something wrong. This increases your chances of getting those buttons! Kind of cool!

I am at home most of the day with the boys and it isn’t always was to get outdoors with them because they are so incredibly active and I am just one person. Usually I am pretty good and herding LOL but if one of the boys runs towards the street and they are fast!!! and the other runs for the woods…I have a problem on my hands! So tonight was another perfect evening so we took a stroll with the boys and the dog on the path behind the house. It is so nice because we can let them walk along and they can expel their energy. I managed to get a few pictures on our walk tonight, so I thought I would share 🙂

Today my husband and I celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary. It’s amazing how time flies! The weather today was beautiful! I got my husband a pair of well needed sneakers and he took me to get some pretty hanging plants for the backyard. We had Japanese Steakhouse for dinner Yummy! and then we took the boys for a stroll along the dam. All in all it was a great day 🙂

The weather was bad outside most of the day so I didn’t get to take the boys out to play. It seems they had incredible pent up energy because they couldn’t go out and run it off. They were bouncing off the walls and I wanted to run and hide. Don’t ya wish you could bottle that energy sometimes?

Well here is a another case of search and destroy…I was trying to put together the baby gate this morning and one of my parts went missing. 😐 So here I was knowing darn well that I had all four pieces when I started! So I searched for a full 45 minutes…talking to my toddlers the whole time showing them the part I needed LOL Im like “show mommy where you put it.” They kept bringing me everything but what I needed. So I went to the toy room and searched like a maniac and eventually found it in with the cars…I should have known.

So, Monkey and Bubs have figured out how to climb the gate at the foot of the stairs!!! So today husband I headed on over to BabiesRUS to get a new fancy gate. These things aren’t cheap! They asked me for an arm and a leg lol, but I think I got a good one and hopefully one that they can’t readily climb. We wound up getting this gate from Kidco. It seems to be a pretty good one and when guests are here they dont have to climb over a gate anymore because this one swings open!

It’s amazing how fast my boys are growing but they don’t seem to be growing into their pants lol. Their shirts are measuring 2T but they are only in 18 month and some 24 moth pants if you roll them up. Its cute to watch them run…they are awfully fast for having such short legs! Maybe they will be soccer players?
